10 weeks, time is flying!

First off, I need to be better about taking pictures. Susie, I'm looking to you for inspiration!
Second, yes, I missed last week, sorry! It was my first day back at work and I just couldn't find time to squeeze it in.
Third, no one said anything about my inability to count in the last post! "8 weeks and 1 month"? I, of course, meant 2 months! (I'll fix that)
We've done a lot in two weeks.
On Tuesday, September 22nd Christina started her first day of day care and I went back to work after 9 weeks of leave/vacation. Yes, I cried.
I need to take pictures (will try tomorrow), but Ruel and I really like Christina's day care. It is called "The First School." They've been in business for over twenty years, only take 4 infants at a time, and the owner is there every day -- I'm convinced they are spoiling our daughter. Lori, the owner, e-mails me with little notes on how Christina is doing and how much they enjoy her.
Christina still hasn't rolled over yet, but her doctor says before she is 4 months she'll be rolling like crazy. She sits up very well and we've already put her in the forward facing stroller. She's tiny, but likes to be able to see the world.
Work is like I never left it, but I do feel a renewed sense of purpose. It was nice to be away for a while and come back ready to tackle the days' challenges.
October is going to be so busy! We are going to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and also taking a road trip to Virginia to see the Sandridge side of the family.
Just one picture this week, but I promise to keep the camera out!

Some say I'm a bit obsessed with photos so between you and me, there's got to be an acceptable balance! It's not easy being a working mom. Trust me, I know. Tony tells me updating our blog every week is too much, but I can't seem to get away from it! It's easy to get behind, though. I'm just hoping one day a company will take an Apple blog and slurp it into a book like Blub books does for blogger sites. I'm still waiting for that day to happen! That's what I get for going Mac! My advice to you is keep your camera close. I make sure I go everywhere with it. Your little baby won't be a baby long and you'll want the photos to remind you how little she once was. So keep shooting...if anything for people like us that are so far away that we rely on blogs to keep us informed. Enjoy the food festival at Epcot. My sister-in-laws used to go every year up until a couple of years ago for their birthdays. I hear it's good, but that's me....I love food! Good luck on your road trip. They are never fun with a little one so keep your sense of humor high for that trip! Looking forward to your next update with all those wonderful photos of your family (am I inspiring you at all yet?)

PS. It's only now that Fia is really starting to roll over (and she's 6 1/2 months!). I wouldn't fret if it hasn't happened. I'm learning with each kid, they do things on their own time!
